Detour

Did you ever know of someone that you really didn't care to ever see again... not b/c you hated them but being around them just brought you down??? That's the kind of relationship that Jack and I have............"Jack-the-ripper" as in my seam ripper! :P He and I have been ripping out 2 of my rows that I noticed were wrong in this pink project this morning just before I was ready to add those borders :/
Talk about a real momentum detour! Sorry I'd love to share another sneak peak of the pink project - but my camera was dropped again... for the up-teenth-thousand time last weekend and now it's stuck on VIDEO mode :/

It was just 1 or 2 weekends ago that I took back the new camera David gave me for Christmas. I just didn't love it as much as I did my old one. As ugly as the taped up thing looked it was still working fine even with the burn mark in the LCD screen from when I dropped it into the preheated oven before leaving for a guild night meeting.... *sigh*

I guess tomorrow we'll make a trip to Best Buy and see what I can choose... b/c I just can not stand not having a camera to take photos with!

Happy Weekend everyone & Love from Texas!

  1. I call it "reverse sewing" or
    "Frog Stitching (rip-it, rip-it)
It sure does stop the momentum at times. But it is a good tool to have when you need it!
I would be so lost without a camera. I remember you blogging about dropping the camera into the oven. Poor Bonnie!
XOXOXO Love from Indiana where we have 12" of snow on the ground and below "0" temps! And the view from your sewing windows looks like Spring!

  2. I saw a T-shirt that reads: "Fear The Ripper", gotta love that!!

I dropped my "big girl" camera on the parking lot outside a restaurant right after Christmas, it's been at the service center ever since... not good. Groan.
