Mail Call - More Minis have arrived

Today I got another package of minis for the swap I'm hosting. (Mail by due date is September 31) These were made by crazy'boutquilts.

Thankfully they arrived before leaving for Hurricane Ike. Aren't they cute??? It's hard to believe but I had never "met" any of these fabrics before today ;)

Edited to add: Crazy'boutquilts is my HGTV quilting friend and she hosts a variety of swaps herself. :) for instance all of those scrappy stars in the quilt top as the header of my blog... she organized that swap ;) Take a look at her blog and let her know you found out about her thru me. Okay? thanks...

and PS _ to find out about me and my whereabouts during hurricane Ike - click over to my family blog www.minorhappenings.blogspot.com as that is the only one I will update this coming week.

Love from Texas!

  1. Hey Bonnie~
You are a sneaky one! :-) I tagged you on my blog. Check it out when you have time! And be safe during Ike!

  2. I am glad to hear you evacuated from the hurricane area. Hope your home doesn't suffer any damage. Bonnie your children are absolutely adorable. And each time I visit your blog it is like watching them grow. It's easy to see you are a wonderful mother.
I hate I miss your nine patch swap, hoping someone host another next year. I also wanted to add that the Bonnie blankets you made look so soft, and have inspired me to try one. How far apart did you sew the lines to create the chenille affect. I just bought quite a bit of fabric to make blankets for babies and children that are in the hosp, I think these would be perfect for them.

  3. Oh Bonnie, I am such a dummy! I just started blogging and forgot I should check the comments!

I just came across your offer for the Kevin Project. At this point we do have it under control but thanks a bunch for offering!

Maybe you & Nora Anne could make a card for one of the holidays and send it off to Kevin..the address is on his Mom's blog..Mended wings..on my site. He is getting more aware of things each day..yippee!

So glad you took those beautiful kids and ran for the hills! Hope the damage is not too much and your back on your blog soon for all of us to enjoy.

I love getting comments! It lets me know that you stopped by! I try hard to reply to everyone who visits but *please note* I cannot reply to your comment, unless you have your email address visible in your settings!
