3rd Times a Charm right?

Nora and I made a trip to the town next door today... guess where we stopped???

Joann's... Can you believe this makes the 3rd Saturday in a row that we've been. I think I'm done going for a while. 3rd Times a Charm right? ;)

These will be cut up tomorrow into 2" strips, so that I can get started on making I-Spy quilts for Olivia & Paul Thomas. My goal is to have them completed by their birthday in June.. if both I-Spy Quilts are not completed by then, then my backup plan will be to give them to them for Christmas.

I know David is gonna flip when I tell him I spent $66 on fabric... but how can I get started on framing all 200 of those "I-Spy" blocks until I went and bought what I need to get started!??! OK?

O.K. ;) Happy Weekend everyone!

Love from Texas!

  2. What a wonderful rainbow of colors! I just started an I-Spy quilt, too, since I have so many juvenile scraps. I look forward to seeing yours.

  4. I have a Joanns right beside where I work, it is tough not going in every week or even every day and checking it out. So I go every payday, lol, which is worse!
I love the fabrics you got, they are so colorful.
