I broke my foot!

I broke my free motion presser foot that is!!! and it's Leah's fault -do you know who I'm talking about? Leah Day of Day Style Designs... she has an SUPER AWESOME blog chocked FULL of free tutorial videos.

She's working on 365 Days of Free Motion Quilting Fillers!!! Every time I click over there, she invited another awesome design! Be Warned - you are gonna need to get a load of wash started, go take a potty trip and then grab a cuppa before clicking over - b/c you could spend all day over there!!! (Clicking on the her logo above will take you there.)

Maybe you can see it better on the dark wood background..?

I have never owned the metal foot - but do remember people telling me to buy the clear plastic one so I could see better - but I found it difficult to see where I was going if back tracking during my meandering... so that got me to thinking about Leah's video on how to break your foot and why she preferred hers modified like this... I figured, what do I have to loose and picked up my little spring loaded hand held Fiskers and just did it! :P

After all how can I become as good as Leah, unless I copy what she does? ;)

Other Great Videos by Leah Day - actually there are 3 different youTube videos included on this one post. ;) I really enjoyed these back a few months ago when I found her site. Quilting Tools and Machine Set up so be sure and take a look!

You're gonna love her website!

OH and one more link - BOOO-KOOS of great information here!!!!! a MUST read for every quilter! Isn't that a cute pic above of Leah and her son - so cute!
