Miss Nora

There once was a time that Nora received a post card or 2 or 3 every week! Back when I started my online Fat Quarter Bingo in '05, many of the players also sent along post cards to Nora. She got them from many states and even several other countries! Over 200+ that first year of collecting.

I taped them to her bedroom door and closet doors front and back and we spent many minutes looking at all the photos each day and sorta playing I-Spy with the things we saw.

Now several years later she doesn't receive them that often... maybe 3 or 4 a year... but just like before she's always excited and happy to GET MAIL that is JUST for her! :) Now that she can read printed handwriting she has even more to enjoy. And when she noticed this one addressed to "MISS" Nora she laughed and said, "That's funny! She must think I'm a teacher!" :D (as the only person she knows with a "Miss" in her name is her 1st grade teacher.

Thank you Miss Eleanor! ;) You helped make my Nora's day with this little surprise I had for her at the table when she got home from school and was getting ready to do her homework.
